Background & Key Achievements

Started out in the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) looking at improving the productivity of our economy, before being seconded to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to contribute to critical infrastructure protection. Took a study break at Oxford, before returning to MOM to develop the jobs and skills agenda for our workforce and ensure a level and fair playing field for employers hiring foreign workers through effective enforcement. In the midst of these experiences, I also had the chance to be involved in COVID operations and learnt how to overcome challenges during a crisis. Currently with the Tripartite Alliance Limited (TAL), an entity set up by the tripartite partners (MOM, NTUC and SNEF) to promote fair, responsible and progressive employment practices.
