Background & Key Achievements
The first 7 years helped shape a commitment to public service, fulfilment on the job, and learning from great bosses. The next 7 helped me see a very different private x start-up environment, which I then applied to my statutory board postings. Carousell, IMDA and GovTech were life-changing experiences doing business I had no business in, such as M&As, P&L ownership, business development, consultancies and product strategy. I'll always encourage others to try something different, as training and experiences have never been destiny.
