Started my 25-year career in the public service as a secondary school teacher and vice-principal, and, across management roles in different sectors, have developed a deep conviction in the four Ps: People, Partnership, Passion, and Purpose - as well as the Power of the arts to change lives. I also believe that diversity and inclusion are critical for healthy organisations.

Proud to have started my career as an MOE English, Literature and Drama Club teacher - before taking on leadership roles in MOE HQ, the National Arts Council, and now, as CEO of the Singapore Symphony, as well as 3 years as Senior Director at the Municipal Services Office (MND) during COVID.
