Background & Key Achievements

I lead EMA’s Energy Technologies Division, overseeing Singapore’s assessment and development of energy technologies, including nuclear energy, domestic solar, hydrogen and geothermal.

Previously, I led the Agritech and Food Manufacturing Divisions at Enterprise Singapore, supporting capability building, innovation, internationalisation and the agritech start-up ecosystem. I headed MTI’s Pro-Enterprise Division from 2017 to 2020 and earlier served as EMA’s Director of Policy and Planning.

Since September 2023, I have chaired Methodist Welfare Services, helping guide its support for underprivileged individuals and families. I am also a certified storytelling facilitator.

I hold an INSEAD MBA and received the Ford Prize as top student in my cohort. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering and undergraduate studies spanning ECE, Economics and Philosophy.

How Can I Help

I can help officers think through energy-transition challenges, technology and policy trade-offs, industry ecosystem development, cross-agency issues, and board or governance responsibilities. Drawing on my role as Chairperson of Methodist Welfare Services, I am also happy to discuss stewardship, social impact and working with diverse stakeholders.

As a certified storytelling facilitator, I can help sharpen the narrative around a policy, strategy or presentation—especially when complex ideas need to resonate with different audiences. Come with a specific question, decision or story, and I will help test its assumptions, trade-offs and narrative. Outside work, I enjoy running, portrait drawing, singing and playing the ukulele.
