Hi, I started my public service career as an officer in the Army for 30 years. I then served in MINDEF as Director NS Directorate for about 2 years before joining ST Engineering Land Systems as a Defence Contractor. I was an “arms dealer” for four and a half years before I return to public service in MOM to start up a new Division to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the dormitories. My current portfolio involves the development and management of migrant workers well-being. It is my most challenging assignment till date!

I am privileged to have some interesting leadership experiences like organising NDP, deploying soldiers overseas to Timor Leste and Afghanistan missions, managing the SAF football club for 5 years and volunteering as a Grassroots leader.

I believe in building teams and creating the conditions for people to succeed. I am happy to share my leadership journey in the public service and the private sector with anyone over a cuppa or glass of beer. I also run and golf :)
