Areas of Expertise/Interest/Experience: Strategy and Sensemaking, People Development and Organisation Design, Employee Engagement, Systems engineering, Innovation, applying technology to different domains and use cases.
Current portfolio looks at strengthening awareness and adoption of Sci, Tech, Engineering within the public service. Have always followed a technology path for my career, starting off at DSTA doing project engineering for land systems and ops and support as well as international collaboration, to then manage the national research, innovation and enterprise plans, strategy and budget at the National Research Foundation and to Maritime Port Authority for ops-tech work before heading over to MOH during the COVID days to help with conveyance ops tech. Along the way, I had the privilege of doing stints with a venture firm which saw me do tech assessments for the partners to decide on their investment portfolio and one company that we looked at, J&T Express, went to IPO. Continue to be passionate about all things technology, e.g. more recently of course AI, but there are other topics like antimicrobial resistance, soil health, food and other topics. Married with two girls in Primary School.
