Areas of Expertise/Interest/Experience: Communication and External Stakeholder Engagement, Employee Engagement, International Diplomacy, Strategy and Sensemaking

I started my career in MFA and dealt with ASEAN Political-Security issues (e.g. South China Sea dispute). I subsequently moved to NCCS, PMO-SG and handled international and domestic climate policies (e.g. representing Singapore in the UN climate negotiations and developing our 2030 and 2050 climate targets and strategies). Thereafter, I was seconded to URA and did long-term land use planning (e.g. Long-Term Plan Review for Singapore's 2060 land use plans). I am currently seconded to NEA to oversee environmental protection, public health, and international affairs policies (e.g. circular economy, air quality, smoking, littering, after death, hawker centres, UN, ASEAN, bilateral relationships etc).
I am happy to share more about the challenges I have faced and experiences I have had so far!
