Lai Wei Lin - Permanent Secretary (Policy and Development), MOH

Started life in MTI, and went on to do postings in infra, COG and social. Handled breadth of policy to ops policy, comms/ engagement and incident ops/mgt work over the years. After a stint in CSC, continued to be involved in talent devt work everywhere I have been in since. Unusual parts of my career - spending more than 7 years in one agency (MOH); doing 2 stretches of part-time, in a SB and a Ministry, to spend more time with my 3 kids.

My wish is for every officer to be able to find a place where the work is purposeful and fulfilling (to them), and where they can continue to learn and grow.
