John Lim - Chief Executive Officer, NRF

Hi, I’m John, currently at MSF overseeing policies and services to help people who need social support, including low-income families, persons with disabilities, rough sleepers sleeping in public places, and children and youth who need protection or rehabilitation.  I also oversee comms and engagement, as well as regulation of charities in the social welfare space.  My postings thus far have been in the economic, central administration, security, and social sectors.  I started working life as an officer in MAS doing mainly banking regulation, and then did scenario planning in the former Strategic Policy Office in PSD, developed homefront security plans and policies in MHA, and worked on higher education issues in MOE before coming to MSF.

Beyond work, my wife and I would probably agree that life revolves around our three young children (two in primary school, one in pre-school), because they are constantly trying to run circles around us and they often make our heads spin.
