Since joining in 2005, I've had a rather atypical pathway in service. I started in a policy position in the Ministry of Defence, found my way into strategic foresight and planning, and now work in connecting foresight with policy. (I still have a soft spot for geostrategic issues.) My favourite part of leadership is helping others identify & achieve their goals. I am married with two young children, and am addicted to caffeine and the written word.
