Hello! I’m Alan. I was previously DS (Development & Regulation) at MCI (now MDDI), where I worked on the Online Safety Bill and helped setup the SG Digital Office.

I am an ex-sailor and naval officer, and did stints in HR, operations, policy-ops, strat planning, international defence policy, capability development and futures during my 26 years in MINDEF/SAF.

Happy to chat with anyone interested in these areas, and my journey learning (1) how to manage different (and difficult) stakeholders, (2) how to staff POHs and senior PSLs, and (3) about leadership and people development (which I’m most passionate about).

Outside of work, I’m a foodie kept awake at night by my two young kids age 5 and 3.
